Grace Gong

Grace Gong, the CEO of UNIM Innovation (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a primary focus on Marketing and Sales.

She has served in world-class semiconductor companies such as AMD, Spansion, Numonyx, Micron, and Infineon. Prior to co-founding UNIM, she held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at YMTC.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Fudan University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Mavis Ho

General Manager, Strategic Partnerships, GCSO

Imec

Mavis Ho has been with imec, a world-leading research and innovation hub in nanoelectronics, energy, and digital technologies, since 2015. In her role, she oversees business development, government relations, supply chain management, and academic partnerships across the APAC region.

Prior to imec, Mavis held leadership roles as Vice President at SEMI Taiwan and Managing Director at SEMI Singapore. Her career began in Atlanta, and over the years, she has worked in the Bay Area, Singapore, Hsinchu, and is currently based in Taipei. With over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Mavis has actively contributed to technical committees, supported foreign service communities, discovered new markets, fostered female leadership forums, and managed some of the largest and most influential semiconductor trade shows in the USA, Taiwan, China, and Singapore.

In addition to her professional roles, Mavis is a dedicated member of various industry and technology committees, including the ECCT Technology Committee, the Taoyuan City Technology Council, and SEMI Technologies Committees. She is also a founding member of SEMI’s Women-in-Tech Committee. Outside of her career, Mavis is passionate about sustainability, serving as a board member for Greenpeace East Asia and as a Senior Advisor at CareHer, a platform for empowering young female leaders.

An avid sports enthusiast, Mavis is currently training for triathlon competitions, has completed lifeguard training, and remains an active mountain climber.

Rita Hsu

General Manager of Structural Sourcing & Supply Chain for Azure Hardware System & Infrastructure (AHSI)

Rita Hsu is the General Manager of Structural Sourcing & Supply Chain for Azure Hardware System & Infrastructure (AHSI) at Microsoft and the site leader for AHSI Taiwan. She oversees strategic sourcing and supply management to create a resilient supply chain, encompassing ODMs, structural components, and IC. Additionally, she has played a key role in establishing the supply chain ecosystem for Microsoft’s custom silicon, facilitating the successful launch of Microsoft’s first custom silicon.

 Prior to joining Microsoft, Rita acquired extensive supply chain experience across various industries, including automotive, high-tech, glass, and management consulting at BCG.

She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.

Vanessa Lee

Vice President of Materials Management

TSMC

Ms. Vanessa Lee is Vice President of the Materials Management Organization at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (TSMC). Ms. Vanessa Lee joined TSMC in 2022 and was appointed Senior Director of Materials Management. She established a working model and system to provide TSMC’s demand forecast to suppliers, and built capability to monitor and track the development and delivery status of TSMC’s key suppliers. This capability and the resulting transparency significantly raised the efficiency of collaboration between TSMC and its suppliers, and enabled TSMC to overcome supply chain disruptions in tools and materials during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining TSMC, Ms. Vanessa Lee worked for Google as global commodity manager between 2020 and 2022. She was a procurement director at Apple from 2011 to 2019, and a senior sourcing manager at Qualcomm from 2007 to 2011.

Ms. Vanessa Lee received her B.S. in Chemistry from Soochow University, and M.S. degree in Chemistry from National Taiwan University.

Maggie Qiu

Maggie co-founded SemiDrive Technology Ltd. in 2018 and served as CEO since then. SemiDrive Technology Ltd. is a fabless semiconductor company, focusing on high-performance automotive SoC and MCU used in ADAS, e-Cockpit and other automotive applications.

Before founding SemiDrive, Maggie served as General Manager of Freescale Qiangxin, as well as R&D Director for i.MX product line at Freescale. Prior to that, Maggie served as R&D Director at Pixelworks (NASDAQ: PXLW). From 1997 to 2008, Maggie worked in various start-ups in silicon valley, providing SoC across different fields including consumer electronics, graphics, networking and communication.

Maggie earned M.S. in EE from University of Wisconsin-Madison and B.S. from Southeast University.

Xiaoxin Qiu

Founder and Chairman

Axera Semiconductor Co., Ltd.

Dr. Xiaoxin Qiu, Founder and Chairman of Axera Semiconductor Co., Ltd., has been employed in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years. She was the CTO of UniSoC Corp,responsible for defining the company technology and product roadmaps, and leading the R&D effort. Before joining UniSoC Corp, as the Vice President of Broadcom Corporation, she was deeply involved in the development of the mobile communication chips and products, and led a large international R&D team, directly serving tier 1 customers such as Samsung, Nokia, and Ericsson. Before Broadcom, Xiaoxin Qiu was the Principal Scientist at AT&T labs – Research, conducting researches on wireless communications systems.

Dr. Xiaoxin Qiu has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Automation from Tsinghua University and a Doctor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Lydia Shen

Chengdu Analog Circuit Technology Inc. (Actt)

Lydia Shen, CEO of Chengdu Analog Circuit Technology Inc. (Actt), has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. She has ever held senior management positions in fabless design companies, foundries, and EDA/IP companies, accumulating extensive experience in strategic planning, investment, marketing, new business development, product planning, and ecosystem construction.

Before joining Actt, she previously served as Deputy Country Manager of Synopsys China. She was fully responsible for Synopsys’ strategic development in China, business development in vertical markets such as AI, automotive, and 5G. She also held positions as Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Foreign Investment Association and Deputy Secretary General of the China Automotive Electronics Industry Alliance. Prior to joining Synopsys, Ms. Shen served as Director of IP Marketing in SMIC. She was fully responsible for developing IP application platforms, building third party ecosystem for business enablement.

Ms. Shen has a master degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University and a bachelor degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Mei May Soo

Mei May is a highly accomplished AI leader with over two decades of experience in Data Science and AI, having been named as the Top 10 CAIO, #1 Top AI Leader in APAC, Top 10 Women in Tech APAC, Top 50 Women Tech Leader in APAC and many more. As the lead of Dell Technologies’ AI/ML initiatives for Global Presales, she works closely with customers to solve problems scientifically and objectively, exemplified by her team’s design and development of a Deep Learning model that recognizes and identifies different types of corals for the conservation of the Great Barrier Reef. Her leadership and innovation in this project were recognized in CIO World Asia. Another AI initiative with a Singapore university to develop a Smart Fundraising machine learning model led to the winning of two Circle of Excellence awards (Global Grand Gold and Best Asia Pacific).

Justine Tsai

Ms. Justine Tsai is the Spokesperson and Director of Corporate Communications at Etron Technology, Inc. She joined Etron in 2000, took a brief hiatus abroad, and returned in 2011 to assume Corporate Communication duties, overseeing Public Relations (PR), Marketing Communication (MarCom), and Investor Relations (IR). At the onset, Ms. Tsai established Etron’s PR function, building a strong public profile and fostering the company’s image. She developed solid ties across industry, government, academia, and research, creating robust industry networks. Through her MarCom efforts, she has strengthened client relationships, expanded business outreach, promoted product marketing, and facilitated transparent communication with investors, fostering mutual understanding and engagement.

In recent years, Ms. Tsai has also served as Chair of the Public Relations Committee for the Allied Association for Science Park, where she has promoted collaboration among PR professionals, PR service industries, and related academic institutions. Her initiatives have emphasized professional training, knowledge sharing, and industry-academic cooperation to enhance both the expertise and practical skills of PR professionals.

Before joining Etron, Ms. Tsai held in-house PR roles at AverLogic, a U.S.-based IC design company, and National Datacomm in Hsinchu Science Park. She also gained valuable experience with Elite Public Relations, Taiwan’s leading PR pioneer.

Ms. Tsai holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Providence University, Taiwan.

Claire Wang

Claire Wang joined Infineon Technologies AG in April 2023 as the Chief Operation Officer and Board Member of the Power and Sensing Systems Division. She has more than 20 years of experience in semiconductor and electronic component manufacturing industries with various senior leadership positions in NXP, Nexperia and TE Connectivity with a strong focus on Supply Chain Management, Operations Planning and working with subcontracting manufacturers.

While based in Taiwan, the Netherlands, US, and Germany, she has managed global teams and gained a diversified view of how to establish and lead a productive team across different continents.

HH Wang

Assistant General Manager, Central Design Group

MediaTek

Ms. HH Wang has a diverse background spanning IC design, software and hardware development, and market planning. She joined MediaTek in 2012 and quickly made significant contributions to the company.

In 2014, she was awarded the Company’s Annual Innovation Award for her outstanding achievements. From 2017 onwards, she served as the project leader for the 4G chip project, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and technical expertise.

In 2019, Ms. HH Wang spearheaded the Dimensity 800 project, which marked MediaTek’s entry into the mid-range 5G market. Her strategic vision and execution were pivotal in the project’s success. By 2021, she was leading the initiative to penetrate global Tier-1 customers, further expanding MediaTek’s global footprint. In addition, she led a global team to design the industry’s first 5G RF-SoC for extremely low-power IoT devices.

Most recently, she took on the role of project leader for the Dimensity-Auto initiative, driving innovation and development in the automotive sector.

Prior to joining MediaTek, Ms. HH Wang held several engineering and managerial roles at ALi Tech. Ms. HH Wang received her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on VLSI from National Central University.

Sherry Xu

Ms. Sherry Xu co-founded Shanghai UniVista lndustrial Software Group Co., Ltd.(“UniVista”) and serves as the company’s Co-president, overseeing operations, sales and marketing, and research and development. With the mission of creating a China domestic EDA, she has gathered strategic resources and top talents from around the world to build a platform-based company. The company focuses on various sectors such as IC design and verification tools, system-level design and packaging, semiconductor design IP, and industrial software, aiming to form a world-class EDA company to support the development of advanced high-end chips in China.

The founding team of UniVista comes from leading international EDA companies such as Synopsys, Cadence and Siemens EDA. Several core leaders have served as global vice presidents and the highest technical positions (Fellows) in these renowned EDA companies. Since UniVista’s establishment, the company has received wildly support from the industrial investors and China IC industry. Many leading China IC design companies have begun to form various types of cooperation with UniVista, including strategic investment, joint research and development, and product evaluation.

 Prior to UniVista, Ms. Xu served as Cadence Vice President and General Manager of China and Southeast Asia, responsible for sales, operations, customer Support and technical support in China, Singapore and Southeast Asia area (including Australia). During her tenure, she rebuilt the sales team in China, established a culture that Customer-centric and professionalism, and led the team to achieve rapid growth in the Chinese market: from 5% of Cadence’s global revenue in 2015 to 17% in 2020. At the same time, Cadence’s China team have also been widely recognized in IC design industry and built competitive advantages in China EDA market. Ms. Xu also held several leadership roles in Cadence, including Group Director of Technical Sales for the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms. Xu has an experience of over 28 years in China semiconductor and EDA industries. As Investment Partner at SummitView Capital, Ms. Xu participated several well-known China semiconductor company investment projects. In her earlier career life, Ms. Xu served for Synopsys China as sales director for East China, Newave Semiconductor, Huahong Group as R&D engineer and Marketing Engineer.

Ms. Xu currently also serves as Vice President of the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association and the Shanghai Electronic Design Automation Development Promotion Association. She was selected as “Shanghai Industry Leading Talent” of the Shanghai High-level Talents program in 2022. She has also been awarded “One of the Top Ten Female Executives Influencing China’s Semiconductor Industry” by Leiphone.com.

Ms. Xu received a BS degree in mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an EMBA from CEIBS.

Jennifer Yuen
