WLI Committees

The Women’s Leadership Initiative is comprised of several committees whose purpose is to establish and develop strategies, metrics, programs, and projects intended to drive toward the goals that women are an integral part of the leadership in the semiconductor industry, that STEM-focused women are attracted to the industry and that female-led start-ups find capital to fund their enterprises.

RESEARCH COMMITTEE

Led by Karla Blanco, Intel Corporation

The Research committee is conducting a survey and interviews to measure the current status of women in the semiconductor industry and the YoY progress towards the WLI vision. This committee will help with data collection for targeted marketing of the Initiative.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

Led by Tali Chen, Innoviz

The Communications Committee develops the marketing strategy for the Initiative including branding and messaging and the image campaign, as well as tactical execution including distribution of marketing materials to target markets, identification of conferences and platforms for messaging and press relations.

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS FOR EXISTING WOMEN IN SEMIS COMMITTEE

Led by Jennie Raubacher, Wells Fargo Securities

This committee meets on a project-only basis helping to develop programs and projects including Best Practices, Mentoring and Training programs.

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS FOR INCREASING TECHNICAL FEMALE NEW HIRES COMMITTEE

Led by Maryam Rofougaran, Movandi and Rozi Roufoogaran, NXP Semiconductors

This committee is developing programs and projects including internship and mentoring for young women entering the industry. This committee is also working with companies to help with recruitment best practices and guidelines for women in semi. In addition, this committee will help promote the image campaign to universities.

ENTREPRENEURIAL PROGRAM COMMITTEE

Led by Mouna El Khatib, AONDevices, Inc.

The Entrepreneurial Program Committee is developing programs to support female entrepreneurs in the semiconductor industry. They will also work with VCs to increase the amount of funding for female-led companies.
