The GSA WLI Lunch and Learn series aims to bring together women from different companies in the industry to connect, network, and learn from others’ stories of success. This is an opportunity to inspire, motivate and develop women, and provide them with the visibility they deserve. This event, designed to support the career growth and professional aspirations of the women in our industry, will take place on August 26th, in Silicon Valley, California.
Our aim for the Lunch and Learn series has been to offer a blend of executive and technical topics, featuring women who are leaders in their respective fields delivering keynote presentations and participating in panel discussions. The overarching theme of our Lunch and Learns is “Pathways to Success”. This event will provide an excellent opportunity for women from different companies to connect and network, which we believe is essential for visibility and professional growth.

Diane has over 20 years of Marketing Communications and PR experience in the semiconductor industry, where she has led the communications and brand efforts for two successful IPOs. She has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies, both internally and as a partner. Before joining Credo, Diane served as a senior director of Marketing Communications and PR with Power Integrations. She has held various positions at Marvell, Audience (acquired by Knowles Corporation), and Nvidia. Diane studied public relations at Mount Saint Vincent University.

Grace Yang Padovani is a strategic sales and business leader with over 18 years of experience in the global semiconductor industry. As Director of Strategic Accounts at Synaptics Inc., she leads full-cycle business development and stakeholder engagement with some of the world’s most influential technology companies.
With a career spanning engineering, product marketing, and executive sales leadership, Grace offers a distinctive cross-disciplinary perspective on strategic growth. Her diverse background empowers her to think long-term, navigate complexity, and align technical innovation with business vision. She holds an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Auburn University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University.

Paroma Sen

Paroma Sen is the Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Astera Labs. She has 20 years of experience in technology marketing, spanning hardware, software and services, across B2B and B2C domains. Prior to Astera Labs, Paroma was the Vice President of Midmarket Marketing for North America at SAP.
Paroma started her career with large B2B companies like National Semiconductor and Dolby Laboratories. Returning to India for a brief stint in 2013, she spent one year in the philanthropy domain and then went on to head marketing for five startup companies, including NDTV Ethnic, a B2C ecommerce startup.
Paroma has an MBA from Berkeley (Haas), MA (Advertising) from UT Austin and MS (Computer Engineering) from UT Austin. Her passions lie in the market adoption of innovative technologies that improve people’s lives. In her spare time, Paroma loves to advise startups, travel, write short stories, and volunteer with animal socialization.

Sylvia Acevedo is a business leader, engineer, entrepreneur, rocket scientist, and inspirational speaker. She joined the Credo board in December 2021 and is the lead independent director. She is member of the Qualcomm board, serving on the governance committee.During her tenure as CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA, her leadership left a historic mark when she spearheaded a program expansion to introduce 146 new badges and programs in STEM, outdoors, entrepreneurship, and civics. As a result, Girl Scouts earned over one million STEM badges in rural, urban and suburban communities. From 2011 to 2016 Sylvia was an Educational Commissioner for the Obama Administration. She has held executive roles at notable technology companies, including Dell, Autodesk, Ungermann-Bass and Apple; was a founder of Reba Technologies and CEO of CommuniCard LLC.

Fariba Danesh is the Chief Operating Officer at PsiQuantum and has more than thirty years of experience in novel semiconductor product development. Ms. Danesh also served as the CEO and Managing Director of Glo from 2010-2019. Glo was a venture-backed microLED display company using nanotechnology developed in Sweden to make the world’s first full RGB microLED small displays. Ms. Danesh has deep semiconductor experience in a large spectrum of semiconducting materials including compound semiconductors and power semi. During her tenure at Glo, she built a team and a fab facility from the ground up which vertically integrated all aspects of a microLED product using nanotechnology, from epitaxy wafers, to devices, to fully integrated sub-systems. Prior to Glo, Ms. Danesh held multiple Executive and General Manager positions with significant R&D, Product Development and Operational responsibility at Avago Technology, Maxtor Technology, Finisar, Genoa, Sanmina, and Seagate Technology. As COO of Finisar and EVP Global Ops at Maxtor she led a workforce of more than 14,000 and at Avago she had full P&L responsibility for the $400M per year photonics business. Ms. Danesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Santa Clara University
