Dr. Yan Li
Vice President, Engineering, Memory Technology
Western Digital
Dr. Yan Li has more than 200 patents and is renowned for her work in NAND, including helping develop the first triple-layer cell (TLC) in 2008. She began working at Western Digital (SanDisk) in 1998 and was promoted to vice president in 2018. Dr. Li earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a master’s degree in Physics from Lehigh University. She has a bachelor’s degree in Modern Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China. She is a graduate of the UC Berkley Engineering Leadership Professional Program.
Senior Director of RFIC Engineering
NXP
Rozi Roufoogaran is the Senior Director of RFIC Engineering at NXP, leading the Ultra-Wideband technology radio development. The products she has lead are shipping today in many of the tier 1 mobile handset companies and numerous IOT devices. Prior to NXP, she was the VP of Semiconductor Engineering at Ethertronics Inc, a startup acquired by AVX corporation in Jan 2018, where she lead the team responsible for their innovative line of active antenna products. Before Ethertronics, she held a number of senior management positions during her 17 years at Broadcom Ltd, responsible for the design and development of CMOS RF and analog circuits for varieties of wireless communication standards, including Bluetooth, Zigbee, WLAN, FM radio, and GPS. Rozi joined Broadcom in 2000 after Innovent Systems, the first company to develop single chip CMOS RF devices, was acquired by Broadcom. The innovations she has pioneered are still part of numerous chips shipping in the billions of units at Broadcom. Rozi received her M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. She is the co-author of 15 journal and conference papers and is an inventor or co-inventor of over 22 patents. Rozi volunteers as a leader of the programs and projects committee at GSA’s women’s initiatives. She is also involved with ECE alumnae advisory committee at UCLA.

Synopsys
Ron Duncan, a 20+ year veteran of Synopsys is a Principle Program Manager in the Chief Innovation Office. He has technical and leadership experience in various semiconductor-related areas including physical design and verification, TCAD, and superconducting & quantum electronics. He focuses on emerging technology applications such as AI, quantum/superconducting computing, automotive electronics, neuromorphic computing, and silicon photonics. He has represented Synopsys at a variety of international conferences and government research symposiums. Ron received his Electrical Engineering degrees from MIT and Cornell University. Prior to Synopsys, Ron held management and technical positions at Avant!, ISS and Hewlett Packard. He is active in Synopsys DEI initiatives, leads the Synopsys black ERG “VIBE”, and is a member of the GEM Fellowship selection committee, the National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, and the African Scientific Institute.
Ron is passionate about supporting the next generation of STEM talent, often gives tech talks to university/student organizations, and was one of the technologists featured in the “Chip In” episodes of the Roadtrip Nation documentary series.
In his spare time Ron is an MIT Educational Counselor, a board member for a non-profit organization, and an avid marathon runner.
DFT Product Engineering Architect
Siemens
Jagjot is a DFT Product Engineering Architect for the Tessent product line at Siemens EDA. She has 18 years of industry experience with a blend of semiconductor design and EDA. She specializes in Design for Test and has worked on a wide variety of test challenges and semiconductor designs that span from Cellular and Graphics designs to Server and Aerospace chips
She started her career in 2006 at Freescale Semiconductors in India. Shortly after she moved to Texas Instruments followed by Qualcomm and Cadence Design Systems.
It was her job at Cadence that brought her to its headquarters in the Silicon Valley. In the last 8 years of moving to US, Jagjot has also worked at Intel and now works at Siemens EDA. Having worked at 6 different semiconductor companies in a wide variety of engineering roles, Jagjot has developed an eye for company cultures. She holds several patents and actively contributes towards reviews of IEEE papers.
Outside of work, she is passionate about writing, reading and fitness routine. Jagjot is driven by learning and likes to keep her mind challenged and stimulated. So, she took up flying as a hobby.
Senior Principal Product Validation Engineer

Kevin Beauford, MBA, is a Senior Principal Product Validation Engineer at Cadence, specializing in product management and validation within the EDA industry. He serves as a team lead with expertise in systems engineering, software development, automation, project management, and QA. Kevin is an innovative engineer with three patents granted to date. He is a graduate of Hampton University (BSCS), DePaul University (MSCS), and DePaul Driehaus College of Business (MBA).
Product Security Engineer
Analog Devices
Krysten Stevens is a product security engineer with Analog Devices, Inc. She has over 20 years of information technology experience in non-profit, higher education, and industry. Prior to joining Analog Devices, Krysten spent time as a database administrator, applications administrator, IT security analyst, cybersecurity threat intelligence analyst, and Director of Technical Operations. She has her MS in Cybersecurity Management as well as the CISSP, GCTI, GCIH, and GPEN certifications. Her daily focus is ensuring that security is a priority during the development of ADI products.
