In case you haven’t heard, registration is open for the 2022 GSA WLI Women in Semiconductor Hardware (WISH) Conference! This year, WISH will be hosted at the Santa Clara Convention Center on September 13.

WISH is the annual GSA WLI technical conference, showcasing some of the semiconductor industry’s most revered leaders and celebrating the advent of a diverse and ambitious next generation in tech. While this event offers an empowering platform for women and encourages the next generation of leaders, attendance is open and encouraged to individuals of all genders. Don’t miss your chance to network with and learn from the minds behind the changing face of technology and the women who have helped break the glass ceiling in the semiconductor ecosystem.
We will be announcing the nominees for our WISH Awards: the Female Up & Comer Award and the Designing the Difference Award next week. Winners of these awards will be announced at WISH. There will be a special presentation for Dr. Lisa Su as the inaugural recipient and now the namesake of the Dr. Lisa Su Woman of Innovation Award.

This is your last chance to submit your nomination for the 2022 Rising Women of Influence Award. The award recognizes up to four exceptional female nominees who are believed by their companies to be a rising star. The nominating company should clearly think its nominees’ contributions to the development, innovation, growth and success of the company will result in her being one of the top leaders at the company and within the industry over the next three years.
Eligibility requirements, award selection process and award criteria are included on the submission form. The recipient will be announced at the 2022 GSA Awards Celebration on December 8.
If life is about choices, then technology, art, and family are seemingly three disparate life-path decisions. But not for Radhika Shankar, group director of Applications Engineering with the Synopsys Customer Success Group. As a technologist, Radhika graduated with a master’s degree in electrical engineering and today manages a team of 40 applications engineers, helping customers solve technical challenges using Synopsys tools. In 2019, she was recognized with the YWCA Tribute to Women Award, honoring her significant contributions as a woman leader in technology. Read more
