Associate VP of Engineering
Zhan Yu is the Associate Vice President at Marvell Semiconductor’s Central Engineering Group. At Marvell, she built and led cross-functional cross-geographic R&D organizations to design, and develop high-performance, mixed-signal IPs. Zhan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, from UCLA, and an MBA degree from INSEAD and Tsinghua University in Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA program. She founded the Coaching Center at Tsinghua x-lab and has been an avid mentor for women’s leadership development and coaching young entrepreneurs.

Design Technology Enablement
Sarah is a Sr Director for Design Technology Enablement at GlobalFoundries where she leads a global engineering team developing Testsites and Optical Proximity Correction solutions. She enjoys working at the intersection between semiconductor manufacturing and design leveraging expertise in patterning processes and layout optimization techniques. Sarah received her master’s in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University and her bachelor’s from Brown University.
Sarah is a Sr Director for Design Technology Enablement at GlobalFoundries where she leads a global engineering team developing Testsites and Optical Proximity Correction solutions. She enjoys sharing her excitement for semiconductor manufacturing and design with all levels of engineers and is inspired by their creative problem solving and innovations in automation that improve efficiency and quality. Sarah received her M.S in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University and her Sc.B. in Materials Engineering from Brown University.
VP of Technology
Qinfang Sun is a VP of Technology in the Wi-Fi Systems team at Qualcomm. She joined Qualcomm in 2011. She is a key technology and engineering lead in designing and launching Qualcomm’s Wi-Fi 5/6/7 solutions for mobile and access point products. Before joining Qualcomm, she worked at Atheros for 10 years on Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/GNSS algorithms and architectures. She received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
VP Connectivity Solutions Division
Chandana Pairla is the Corporate Vice President of the Connectivity Division at Renesas, overseeing a comprehensive portfolio that includes LPC, WiFi, NFC, UWB, Radar, and SubGHz product lines addressing a variety of market segments including Consumer, Smart home, IOT, Industrial and Automotive. With over two decades of experience in engineering, product management, and strategy within the semiconductor industry, Chandana is responsible for driving Renesas towards excellence in connectivity solutions and shaping the future of the semiconductor industry.
Before joining Renesas, Chandana served as the VP of Product Management at Charter Communications, where she played a pivotal role in shaping WiFi and IoT product roadmaps, delivering enhanced services to a vast customer base of over 20 million subscribers.
Prior to her tenure at Charter, Chandana held key leadership positions, including leading Corporate Strategy at Intel, where she spearheaded initiatives aimed at enhancing execution excellence and ensuring a consistent flow of innovative products across the company’s Consumer and IoT segments.
Chandana’s career journey also includes significant contributions at Qualcomm and Flarion Technologies, where she held influential roles in product and engineering leadership. Notably, at Qualcomm, Chandana led the Product Management organization for WiFi infrastructure, orchestrating strategies such as WiFi Mesh that revolutionized the router market and propelled Qualcomm to significant market share gains.
Chandana is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, holding a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. She also earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Osmania University.
Strategy and Program Office Manager
Sanchali manages Strategy team in the Custom Silicon Organization in Google devices overseeing upstream Silicon technology in the ecosystem and industry initiatives like NetZero, risk management etc for Silicon. She was at Meta as a Silicon Strategy and Product Manager in Reality Labs working on smart glasses and AR/VR. Prior to that, at Intel she worked on Fab Process, Advanced Packaging and Chiplets Strategy. She holds a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Washington, Seattle and MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. She was the recipient of VLSI Research All Star of Semiconductor Hall of Fame Recognition (2019).
Custom Compute & Storage Senior Staff Manager
Patricia Fong is a Senior Staff Manager with Marvell in Santa Clara Custom Compute & Storage and has been focused on Back-End Design for the past 16 years. Over this time, Patricia has helped taped out over 25 designs from 90nm to 5nm process nodes. Patricia holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Duke University and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
