I started my career in the memory industry at AMD around 20 years ago, when memory was still a small segment compared with CPU and other ASIC. Since then, the memory industry has been seeing double digit bit growth in each year and has become more critical in each electronic device. WLI is committed to promoting female leadership through the GSA Women’s Speakers Bureau. We are currently building a comprehensive database of women who can speak on business trends, market drivers and technical issues.  Interested in participating? Know someone who would like to contribute?

Over half of semiconductor companies report less than 5% representation of women in technical director roles, while nearly two-thirds of semiconductor companies have less than 5% women in technical VP roles. View more highlights of the Women in the Semiconductor Industry survey results regarding recruitment, retention, and career advancement. This GSA-Accenture joint study provides an updated snapshot of the current representation of women and other data-driven insights about key gender diversity matters. Contact research@gsaglobal.org to participate in the next annual survey and interview sessions.

In the meantime, be on the lookout for the subsequent white paper Unlocking the Value of Women in Semiconductors coming in March!
